9) Processing of Data for the Purpose of Order Handling

The personal data collected by us will be passed on to the transport company commissioned with the delivery within the scope of contract processing, insofar as this is necessary for the delivery of the goods. We will pass on your payment data to the commissioned credit institution within the framework of payment processing, if this is necessary for payment handling. – Google Ads Conversion Tracking
This website uses the online advertising program “Google Ads” and the conversion tracking within the framework of Google Ads, operated by Google Limited Liability Company, Mountain View, California, United States (“Google”). We use the program of Google Ads to draw attention to our attractive offers with the help of advertising materials (so-called Google Adwords) on external websites. We can determine, in relation to the advertising campaigns data, how successful the individual advertising measures are. We are interested in showing you advertisements that are of interest to you. We want to make our website more interesting for you and to achieve a fair calculation of advertising costs.
The conversion tracking cookie is set on a user’s browser, if he clicks on an ad delivered by Google. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer system. These cookies usually lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits a certain page of this website and if the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we will be able to recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was forwarded to this page. Each Google Ads customer gets a different cookie. Thus, cookies cannot be traced via the website of Google Ads customers. The information collected by the conversion cookies is used to provide aggregate conversion statistics to Google Ads customers who have opted-in for conversion tracking. Customers are informed about the total number of users who clicked on the ad and were forwarded to a conversion tracking tag page. However, they do not get any information enabling them to identify users personally. If you do not want to participate in the tracking program, you can refuse the use of this program by deactivating the Google Conversion Tracking cookie via your Internet browser through the user settings. In this case, you will not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.

– Google Display Network Impression Reporting
We have implemented Google Display Network Impression Reporting. Users can set preferences for how advertises to you using the Google Ad Settings page. Alternatively, you can opt out by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative Opt Out page or by using the Google Analytics Opt Out Browser add on.
– Meta Pixel

Within our online offering, we use the “Meta Pixel” service of the following provider: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Quare, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Meta”)

If a user clicks on an advert placed by us on Facebook and/or Instagram, “Meta Pixel” is used to add a parameter to the URL of our linked page. This URL parameter is then entered into the user’s browser after redirection by a cookie that our linked page sets itself.

This makes it possible for Meta to determine the visitors to our online offering as a target group for the display of adverts. Accordingly, we use the service to display the Facebook and/or Instagram ads placed by us only to those users who have also shown an interest in our online offering or who have certain characteristics (e.g. interests in certain topics or products determined on the basis of the websites visited), which we transmit to Meta (so-called “custom audiences”).

On the other hand, the “Meta Pixel” can be used to track whether users have been redirected to our website after clicking on an advert and what actions they take there (so-called “conversion tracking”).

The data collected is anonymous to us and therefore does not allow us to draw any conclusions about the identity of users. However, the data is stored and processed by Meta so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and Meta can use the data for its own advertising purposes.
– Microsoft Advertising
This website uses the conversion tracking technology “Microsoft Advertising” from Microsoft (Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA). Microsoft sets a cookie on your computer if you have reached our website via a Microsoft Advertising ad. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your terminal device. These cookies lose their validity after 180 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Microsoft and we can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page (conversion page).
The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics, i.e., to record how many users reach a conversion page after clicking on an ad. This tells us the total number of users who clicked on our ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. A tag is stored on each page of our website for the use of universal event tracking, which interacts with the conversion cookie set by Microsoft. We comply with the California Online Protection Act (CALOPPA). However, we do not honor “DO NOT TRACK (“DNT”). CNT is a preference you set in your browser to inform websites that you do not want to be tracked.

13) Fair Information Practices

13.1 In order to be in line with Fair Information Practices we will take the following responsive action: Should a data breach occur we will notify you via email within 7 business days.

18) Duration of Data Storage
